On the fuel damper (which is on the left), it flows from the right side down to the fuel rail. Then it flows from the fuel rail up to the FPR (on the lower-left side of the FPR), then out of the upper left side of the FPR and back into the fuel hard lines by the balance tube. The fuel pump pressurizes the entire system, and the FPR is at the end of the system to control how much is allowed to return to the tank.
